Victor Butt Open Diary - Small steps

Alright Diary,

It's been a while and a rough start to the year, I'll spare the details but it includes loss and grief,

I'll be okay but I am still processing everything that's been happening,

In times like this I've usually used music and creativity as an outlet for understanding my emotions,

I had more energy and time as of recent but feel I've plateau in what I've set out to previously achieve.

Either that or my goals have slightly altered.

As an artist I feel it's is important for me to be inspired and motivated whilst have clear target to myself to aim at. I am currently trying to align myself not just in music but in life, I am optimistic that things will become clear soon and am being proactive within the search.

All in the balance, and sometimes when results aren't presenting I feel is it important to remember how far I've come not to compare to others but my previous self, thinking of the positives and what I've learnt along the way,

Hard experiences educate the soul. It may not seem that way in the thick of it but things will get better.
